From jeffhealey.com (Sunday, March 2, 2008):Following a lengthy struggle with cancer, Jeff Healey passes away on the eve of the release of a new blues rock album.
I regret never seeing him play live.
I can still remember the first time I punched up "See The Light" on my stereo. I can only describe the feeling that I had as mind-blowing awe. There is no way to adequately convey how electric and vital that song sounded to me. It sent a shockwave of energy running through me and it still does every single time.
Take a listen to him from 1989 and marvel at the artistry.
What a terrible loss this is.
