Meatloaf!If there's a more cheezy 70's performer, I'd love to hear about them! But, truth be told, I love Meatloaf. I love the rock-opera, stadium sound of his music, but like all greasy things, I can only take so much at once.
If one of his songs comes up on my random playlist, I'll crank up the volume and groove to it, but I don't think I've ever listened to any of his albums straight through. The slick sheen of the production gets to me after a few songs, and they all start sounding alike.
But, this is just an incredible sounding bootleg and very very highly recommended! This could be a commercial release, it's so good!
"You took the words right out of my mouth" is my absolute favorite song of his.
